How to draw a Bear

Learn How to draw A Bear Quickly & Easily!

Make sure your paper is positioned exactly like mine. And, start with the same stroke as I did. That way, you’ll minimize the risk of ending up with a non-proportional drawing. Follow those rules and you’ll learn how to draw a Bear in no time! The big nose that looks like a huge potato comes first (00 min 27 sec). Next, draw a simple shape for the eyes like you see in the video.

After you put the dots in for the pupils, get to the eyebrows (00 min 48 sec). The ears follow. They both look almost the same, but the left one is significantly bigger. Once they are in place, create a zigzaggy line between them to shape the upper part of the head (01 min 07 sec). The mouth and the lower jaw are connected; and, they’re pretty easy to draw. If everything looks good, go back to the left ear and add that super-long line for the back (01 min 27 sec).

This is one of the most important parts of our how to draw a Bear tutorial and should be treated accordingly. That belly comes next. Use a curvy line right next to the back to draw the left hand (01 min 37 sec). The final stage is simple: the legs look the same and consist of a series of primitive lines. Before you say goodbye, don’t forget to add the toenails and the cute tail (02 min 03 sec). And that’s it for today’s lesson!

Before you learn how to draw A Bear, did you know?

These big, strong, and fascinating creatures are incredibly powerful and no man out there is a match for them. At the same time, they aren’t predators and won’t attack anyone unless there’s an imminent threat to the little ones.

We are used to watching them on the other side of the screen, and usually, the teddy bears in the cartoons are nice and friendly. But do keep in mind that in the real world, these beasts are not to be messed with. If you saw that movie with Leonardo Dicaprio, then you already know what we are talking about.

Some Things To Keep In Mind…

These tutorials are only here to guide you. Your drawing does not need to look "identical" to mine.

Start with rough but light pencil strokes that you can work into the shapes you want.

Once you have your rough drawing completed, go over it in a darker stroke for your final drawing.

Add shading and/or color to complete if desired.

Using this technique you will be able to draw anything after some practice... even without following step-by-step tutorials.
