As with any other animal, in this video, the donkey’s head (especially the facial features) is the most important part. Shape it first and only then move on to the pig-like nostrils and mouth (00 min 08 sec). The eyes are super tiny and sit right above the nose (00 min 25 sec). For the animal’s back, use a nice and curvy line (01 min 05 sec). The legs are all pretty much the same and make the donkey look quite tall (01 min 23 sec). Plus, they feel amazing when you’re sitting on their backs and riding into the night. 

Some Things To Keep In Mind…

Start with rough but light pencil strokes that you can work into the shapes you want.

Once you have your rough drawing completed, go over it in a darker stroke for your final drawing.

Add shading and/or color to complete if desired.

Using this technique you will be able to draw anything after some practice... even without following step-by-step tutorials.
