How To Draw A Jingle Bell

Learn How To Draw A Jingle Bell Quickly

As far as the easiest and most fun tutorials on our website go, this one’s pretty high up on the list. So, if you’re serious about learning how to draw a Jingle Bell, follow my lead and create a big circle in the lower corner of the paper (00 min 06 sec). This is the main part of this drawing (and the most important one). It doesn’t have to be perfectly round and smooth. Watch my video closely to see that first-hand.

If you’re happy with it, go ahead and add the notch (that “whole” in the left corner) (00 min 14 sec). It plays a key role in making that sound so familiar to the fans of Christmas. You should color the whole thing black. The final part of this how to draw a Jingle Bell tutorial is, of course, the ring on top (00 min 48 sec). It’s as simple as the rest of it.

That was pretty easy, wasn’t it? If you want, you can add multiple Bells of different sizes and shapes to make this drawing look even better. But we did our job for this video guide. The rest, as always, is up to you! We really hope that our short lesson got you into that wonderful Christmas mood of celebration.

Before you learn how to draw A Jingle Bell, did you know?

Nothing says Christmas better than a nice collection of Jingle Bells. That sound can’t be mistaken for anything else and is heard constantly throughout the winter holidays. Plus, the musicians use them as a percussion instrument that gives an “eclectic” touch.

Originally, the Jingle Bells were made to be put on the horses. The idea was to herald the approach of a fast-moving carriage and/or to let the locals learn of the arrival of an important person. Today, the bells serve as Christmas ornaments – nothing more.

Some Things To Keep In Mind…

These tutorials are only here to guide you. Your drawing does not need to look "identical" to mine.

Start with rough but light pencil strokes that you can work into the shapes you want.

Once you have your rough drawing completed, go over it in a darker stroke for your final drawing.

Add shading and/or color to complete if desired.

Using this technique you will be able to draw anything after some practice... even without following step-by-step tutorials.
